Found blooming in Cook County by Lorraine Anderson - lorraine@bwca.cc (Be sure to check out the past reports linked at the right as well!)

Where we went:

Caribou Trail, Honeymoon Trail #164, Barker Lk. Rd #337 (is one mile in from the Caribou Trail)  Grass-of-Parnassis, Virgin's Bower, Rough-Fruited Cinquefoil and Turtleheads were the special things we saw there.  Brook Lobelia we found on the shore by the Cascade Beach Road.  Spotted Knapweed on #7We had a special bit of excitement when we found the nest of a Chestnut Sided Warbler and her three featherless babies.  They are going to have to grow fast in order to migrate before winter.

Chicory - Cichorium intybus
