Boundary Waters named by USA Today as one of the Top Ten Places to Extend the Summer

Fishing guide Tim Holschlag leads a discussion Jan. 26 on canoe fishing in the BWCAW.  His 3 p.m. presentation will be conducted during the Minneapolis Boat Show at the Minneapolis Convention Center and will be at the booth of the Minnesota Canoe Association. 

A contributing editor of Boundary Waters Journal magazine, Holschlag's writing ranges from wildlife and canoe routes to angling and fisheries conservation.  He also is the warm-water editor of Midwest Fly Fishing magazine and is a founding member of the Smallmouth Alliance, an organization of anglers dedicated to protecting and improving North America 's smallmouth bass fisheries.     

Holschlag’s presentation is free; however, admission to the boat show is $8 for adults and $4 for children ages 5-11; children younger than 5 are free.  For more information about Holschlag’s presentation, please contact Amy Wilkenloh at (612) 332-9630.
