Mixed transformed snow and frozen granular snow. The warm termp's
all week have only melted and transformed the snow more in most
areas. The rain forecast for Thursday and Friday may stabilize the
snow conditions. Grooming by snowmobile may be possable at some
point this weekend. Trails are pretty good, considering...

Although this beautiful trail is
not groomed, it is often frequented and almost always has a set of
tracks on it. Snowshoers help it keep a nice packed base. The trail
runs through the George Washington Memorial Pine Plantation and
along Elbow Creek. Parking available at Gunflint Trail.
